Watch Karl-Anthony Towns Play Defense With Andrew Wiggins' Sneaker

That's one way to do it.

What's the proper response when there's a loose sneaker on the floor in a professional basketball game?

There's the aggressive Marc Gasol route of using the shoe for a steal and there's also the approach of using the shoe for some extra reach on a block.

During last night's Spurs/Timberwolves game, rookie Karl-Anthony Towns played defense with an extra sneaker, grabbing the adidas Crazylight Boost 2015 that fell off teammate Andrew Wiggins' foot.

As you can see in the video above, Towns doesn't use the shoe to great effect, but he did help in successfully defending the play.
