Another pair of Foams could be headed our way in 2016 as reports of a once, player exclusive Player Exclusive Nike Foamposite Pro, is making its way to retail. These Foam Pros are said to have been inspired by the ones given to former UCONN and NBA standout, Ben Gordon, back in 2004 upon his signing with Nike.

Sneaker Bar Detroit first reported and shared images of the royal blue colored Foam Pros whose colorway strikingly similar to the "Varsity Royal" Pros that dropped in 2001. The main differences between the two models is the Gordon PEs feature a blue outsole whereas the Varsity Royals featured a black outsole. Other cosmetic differences include the Gordons having a leather eyestay, the forefoot Swoosh being a lighter shade of blue than the '01s, and the back heel Swoosh being white instead of a tonal black.

Though no official details were given, SBD does report that we can expect to see these hit shelves at some point during spring/summer 2016.
