For a while now, rumors have circulated about the possible release of the red Air Jordan 11 "Melo" pair, which first surfaced as a Carmelo Anthony exclusive. As the holiday season, which was when the sneaker was rumored to release, approaches, talk about its possible arrival has begun again.
One of the pieces of evidence people have pointed to as an indication of its release is the below photo of an apparent Foot Locker calendar, which lists a combo Air Jordan 11/29 pack as releasing on Dec. 23.

But, reliable sources of early Air Jordan release date info like baltsneakershow and PO! say that such a release is not happening. These sources should be trusted over the supposed Foot Locker calendar image.
I stated this back on 6/6/15, but I'm scrolling through the TL just now & there seems to be a lot of conflicting reports/confusion.

No AJ 11 "Melo" All-Red this year. That Footlocker advertisement is incorrect.

Note that today, French blog Sneakers Addict posted the image shown above of a red Air Jordan 11. The image is a Photoshop rendering – Sneakers Addict is notorious for creating these sort of mock-ups of sneakers before their release.
Based on the information from the aforementioned sources and Sole Collector's contacts at sneaker retailers, the release of the rumored red Jordan 11 this year is very unlikely. We will update here should things change.
