Continuing to represent the 3-Stripes on-court, Nick Young is set to take the court in a pair of Gilbert Arenas' old adidas signature shoes.

Hoping to help the Lakers put an end to the Golden State Warriors' winning streak tonight, Young is playing in the "Vote For Gilbert" adidas TS Lightswitch (or Gil II Zero). The 2007 release was limited to 3,000 pairs and was created to assist Arenas in his push for MVP voting that season.

According to LA Daily writer Mark Medina, Young is lacing up the golden sneakers in part because he's signed a deal with adidas. And they're not a pair he bought from eBay — he grabbed them straight from Arenas' closet.
