A truant sneakerhead paid the ultimate price for his school-skipping ways.
The young man in the picture above, profiled by blog Humans of New York, says that his mom found out that he was skipping school and decided to teach him a lesson. As he tells it, she said she got something for him and left it in his room. When he he went to his room, almost all of his possessions were gone.
"Everything was gone," he says in the blog entry. "My TV was gone. My cable was gone. My systems were gone. My LeBrons were gone. My Jordans were gone. My Kobes were gone."
The mother did show some mercy, leaving behind a single pair of Reeboks.
