Need more reason to be upset at the Patriots? This latest Patriots Nike Lunar Force 1 designed in conjunction with team owner Robert Kraft should do the trick.
Despite all the scandal surrounding the squad, Nike is going to go ahead and release its latest collaborative shoe with the New England team this week. The sneaker makes specific reference to the four championships they've racked up this millennium with a bunch of Vince Lombardi trophies across the tongue. Kraft's initials show up on deubres and under the tongues, and a quote from him is printed on the sockliner.
While these sneakers are going to enrage Patriot haters regardless, those people can take some solace in knowing that proceeds from the sale of the shoes will go to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston.
This Patriots x Nike Lunar Force 1 ($150) will release at Nike Boston at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Sep. 10 and at the Patriots Pro Shop at 9 a.m. the following day. According to Nike, these will also be available on the SNKRS app and Nike.com.
UPDATE 9/17: Nike has officially announced that the Patriots x Nike Lunar Force 1 will be available on the SNKRS app as well as Nike.com on Friday, Sep. 18.
