Earlier in the summer, Jordan Brand confirmed that the release date for Drake's OVO Air Jordan 10 was set for Sep. 12.
Today, info arrived that appeared to peg the sneaker as an Oct. 3 release instead. Footaction, one of the retailers that will carry the sneakers, updated its launch locator to reflect the new date. It has since changed the date back to Sep. 12 on its launch locator. Jordan Brand's original tweet on the Sep. 12 date is still up, making it seem likely that the "OVO" Jordan 10s will indeed be releasing this weekend.
Boutiques appear to already have the shoes in stock but are holding out for an Oct. 3 release – Alumni in Brooklyn is one of them.
The differing info coming from boutiques and larger stores suggests that an initial release from Nike/Jordan Brand is still coming this weekend, with a wider one to follow in October.
Sole Collector will provide updates should release info for this Drake Air Jordan retro change.

UPDATE 9/9: According to a representative from Alumni, the sneakers will be releasing there on Sep. 12. Current info from retailers suggests that Jordan Brand changed the release date to Oct. 3 yesterday, only to change it back to Sep. 12.
