Today, Nike officially introduced the LeBron 13.
Built with performance in mind, the LeBron 13 combines lockdown fit and dynamic cushioning to support LeBron’s unique blend of power and speed. A breathable, sock-like fit enhances flexibility and lockdown. Hyperposite material provides zoned impact protection. And hexagonal Nike Zoom Air cushioning maximizes explosiveness.
The LeBron 13 has also been engineered to address performances needs of young athletes. Each model features design elements unique to age range and physical development.
Following James’ return home, the LeBron 13 also draws inspiration from Akron, Ohio. The tongue top, embellishment, heel tab, Swoosh graphic and inner heel all feature nods to the city. There’s also Akron-specific colorway elements.
The “Written in the Stars” launch colorway will release on Oct. 1 in Greater China and globally on Oct. 10, followed by the “Away” colorway for Cleveland’s opener in Chicago. The shoe will debut on NIKEiD beginning Sep. 30.
