1996's Nike Air More Uptempo, that model that was so bold with its "AIR" branding, is getting another retro.
The sneaker was a go-to model for Scottie Pippen during the height of his dominance with the Chicago Bulls, although it wasn't officially a signature shoe. The Air More Uptempo owes its bold look to Nike designer Wilson Smith, who wanted the shoe to be as straightforward as possible with its messaging.
Shown here are two colorways to come – the original black/white and a white/red with obvious Chicago connotations.
This retro release from the Nike archives is scheduled to come back around in the summer of 2016.
