The Nike Air Max 90 Isn't Just a Runner Anymore

It's been a long time since the Nike Air Max 90 was actually considered a running sneaker, as no self-respecting runner is going to actually log miles in a 25-year-old shoe.

Helping separate the shoe from its origins in the running world are the many remixes that have arrived over the years. The Nike Air Max 90 Utility for example, shown here, gives the shoe a more boot feel with its taller silhouette and snug inner bootie.

This model popped up last week under the Air Max 90 Mid Winter moniker – it's unclear which is the proper model name.

These sneakers haven't landed in the U.S. yet, but Japanese retailers like atmos have them in stock.
