Japan's Hender Scheme has carved out an impressive niche with its handmade, vegetable tanned leather reinterpretations of classic sneakers including one that looks like the Air Jordan IV. Now, Jordan Brand is turning the tables with a natural leather sneaker of its own.

Previewed by Richard Hamilton is a tan "Pinnacle" Jordan 1. Instagram user @bigktheboss dropped off some additional shots, giving us a good idea of what to expect when these hit shelves. From the looks of things, this could be one of the most premium "Pinnacle" 1s yet.

Aside from the aforementioned natural leather upper, these come packaged with a pair of leather laces, giving them the full "Hender Scheme" look. Whether or not Jordan Brand lifted the inspiration from the Japanese brand is debatable, but it's hard to deny the similarities between the two sneakers.

We're hearing talks of a November release, but check back soon for the official word.
