Could Russell Wilson Be Under Armour Bound?

The roster may be getting stronger.

He's got a Super Bowl ring, pop star girlfriend and a brand new mega-contract. Now Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is in line for a new endorsement deal.

The All-Pro's Nike contract recently expired, making him a cleat free agent. And in an interesting development, he showed up to the first day of Seahawks training camp wearing Under Armour Spine Fierce cleats.

According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, there is not yet a deal between Wilson and Under Armour, but it's clear that he has the brand on his list of options as he searches for a brand. It's not uncommon for players to wear-test other cleats before eventually re-signing.

Continuing to have a strong year, Under Armour added Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas to its roster last week. If signed, Wilson would become part of a quarterback stable that already includes Tom Brady and Cam Newton. More on this story as it develops.
