Patta collaborations usually aren't too easy to track down – ask anyone who's tried to acquire one of the many Air Max designs that's come from the Dutch sneaker shop.
This one, a Vans Old Skool created in conjunction with Beams, probably won't be easy to purchase either by virtue of its Japan-exclusive status. The shoe will be released at a planned Harajuku pop-up shop on Sep. 25 and at select Beams locations for ¥12,000 (roughly $101).
The sneaker is dubbed the "Mean Eyed Cat," which could be a reference to the Johnny Cash song of the same name. The shoe features jumbo "Patta" branding across the side, with more showing up for the laces and on the insoles.
