During his recent trip to Manila, LeBron James visited an abandoned parking garage that has become home to approximately 5,000 displaced family members. There, a large basketball court featuring a mural of LeBron painted by local artists. Touched by the presentation, James shared a photo of the court on his Instagram account after the visit with the following caption:
"Visited this amazing place in Manila today. An abandoned parking garage that's been taken over by more than 5,000 displaced family members. This basketball court is its heart and soul, and if it weren't for basketball giving the kids a distraction from the bad influences around them the state would tear it down. Honored to have my likeness grace this space."
The court also depicts James wearing the yet-to-release Nike LeBron 13 sneaker expected this October.
