Memes, complaints and broken hearts. It's just another sneaker release Saturday, which means it's also time for a new celebrity sneaker recap.
Today is the day that everybody's been waiting for — the official release of Kanye West's "Pirate Black" adidas Yeezy 350 Boost. As expected, pairs sold out quickly and the launch wasn't without a bit of controversy, but it was another good moment for adidas and Kanye's growing partnership.
In other celeb news, Drake finally revealed detailed looks at both of his "OVO" Air Jordan 8 colorways Thursday night. Both white and black-based pairs feature gold accents, owl logos and wording beneath the cross-strap. You can check them out here.
Taking over for the Superstar, the Yeezy 350 Boost was once again the Celebrity Sneaker of the Week. Surprisingly, there weren't many shares in the new black colorway, but that's sure to change next week. Chris Brown, Pusha T, Von Miller, Ashanti and Future were all spotted wearing the launch colorway.
