The influence of the "Galaxy" Foamposite continues to be felt over three years later.
These two pairs of Asics Gel Lyte IIIs aren't a direct rip of the theme, but the spacey graphics attached to the uppers of these pairs definitely feel derivative to some extent. Remember Asics isn't the only brand guilty of this, Nike itself had one of the weirdest galaxy "tributes" in that totally unexpected Nike Zoom Hypercross quickstrike featuring celestial graphics.
These two Asics Gel Lyte III styles haven't release in the U.S., but shops in Japan like atmos have them now.
