Ubiq and Brooks Heritage are back with their second collaboration.
The Philly-based retailer, who put out the 'Liberty' Chariot in 2014 has chosen to put their unique take on the Brooks Fusion silhouette, this time around. Inspired by Philadelphia's history of creating fine wine, this pair is known as the 'Reserve' edition. It comes in a red, black and off white colorway, sporting a red-based premium pig skin suede upper with off white suede on the tongue and toe area with hits of black on the back heel, collar, logo on the sides.
The deep red color on the upper comes from red wine while tan represents the oak barrels it is aged in. Other details include a custom cork sockliner with dual branding, waxed laces and a wine crate-style oak box with a logo that honors each brands home region.
The sneaker release date for the 'Reserve' Brooks Fusion is Saturday, July 11 exclusively at Ubiq for $130. A wider release at select Brooks Heritage retailers will follow on Saturday, Aug. 1.
