As headlines have proved time and time again, anyone selling sneakers via Facebook or Craiglist needs to take the proper precautions in order to ensure their safety.

The latest evidence comes from Reading, Pa., where 20-year-old Eric Figueroa pulled out a gun on a man during a Facebook sneaker sale meet up. Figueroa was trying the sneakers on when he pulled out a gun on the seller and began making threats and insisting he wasn't giving the sneakers back. Keep in mind that this happened in an open area at 6:30 p.m.

The good news is that Figueroa, like this idiot, used his real name when setting up the sale. So when the victim came forward, police were able to track the suspect down through his Facebook page.

Figueroa is being held on $50,000 bail and is charged with robbery, harassment, terroristic threats, simple assault, and theft by unlawful taking.
