The Nike MAG is one of the last sneakers you'd ever expect to see in an actual basketball game.
And yet, there it was at this weekend's Kick and Roll Classic game put on by the Kiel Colon Cancer foundation. The sneakers were worn by Lewis Ansara, who apparently was elected as the "Sneaker MVP" at the event. The MAGs can't have been super functional as a hoops shoe, but you've got to respect Ansara's ballsy move of putting in work in a pair that surely cost him at least several thousand dollars to acquire.
Hopefully Ansara can get his wear-testing notes back to the Nike development team before the 2015 Nike Mag release date.
