In early 2014, the University of Tennessee and adidas decided to part ways. The contract between the two ran through last season, which means you'll see the Volunteers dressed in Nike gear this year.
For an idea of what the Vols will be rocking this season, look no further. The school's Free Trainer 5.0 V6 PE is previewed here, decked out in bright orange and white with logos printed throughout the upper. But what really gives the shoe a touch of school pride is the famous Tennessee checkerboard print on the heel and tongue.
And for Vols fans, there's some good news. According to fans over at VolNation, these kicks will hit select retailers like Dicks on August 12.
