The Nike Air Max 1 is about to get more exciting thanks to the pending return of a certain detail treasured by collectors of the silhouette.
That would be the tiny Swoosh that shows up on the forefoot, an accent used on classics like Patta's Air Max 1 range and the "Viotech" bangers from atmos. Also switched around here is the branding on back, where another embroidered Swoosh shows up.
The only asterisk on this exciting detail is the word that the pictured pair won't be showing up till 2016. Then again, other catalog shots have shown off similar styles that are on the way, so perhaps they'll touch down before the year expires.
