Converse and Missoni are back again, this time issuing a duo of Converse Chuck Taylor All Star and Converse Chuck Taylor Deck Star pairs using textiles from the venerated Italian fashion house.
According to the press release, these two pairs reference the character of the traveling surfer, and are meant to represent the point of convergence between European style and Maghrebian influences. What that means in terms of materials is space-dyed cotton, toweling, and terra cotta canvas.
These two new collaborative Converse styles will release starting on Friday, July 17, for $200 each.
