The new Kendrick Lamar x Reebok Ventilator project is very upfront about being inspired by the Pirus and Crips of Lamar's native Compton.
Reebok has shied away from being too direct in its press releases about the shoe, but Lamar's label Top Dawg Entertainment released this video over the weekend that gives some more background. The clip features gang members giving their reactions to the shoe, which they agree could help push things forward as far as uniting the youth.
