Earlier today, news broke that the University of Michigan will be breaking ties with adidas for a Nike reunion next August. As part of the new agreement, the men's and women's basketball teams will take the court wearing Air Jordans and Jumpman branded uniforms.

But former Michigan hoop star and Fab 5 member Juwan Howard isn't waiting until 2016 to lace up Air Jordans. In fact, he spent most of his career as an official member of Team Jordan. Now an assistant on the Miami Heat's coaching staff, Howard is showing the youngsters that he's not new to this sneaker thing.

If you've spotted Howard on the sidelines during NBA Summer League, you may have noticed him wearing a "Ring Night" Air Jordan 11 PE — but his version happen's to be a never-before-seen low-top. Howard was a member of the back-to-back Heat championship teams in 2012 and 2013, so you know these weren't supplied by Jim Jones' plug.
