In another unfortunate incident of sneaker violence caught on video, a man was beaten up in Houston by two attackers who attempted to rob him of his sneakers.
While it's unclear if the incident started over the Air Jordans, which are too blurry in the video to identify, the men are seen ripping the shoes off the victim. The witness who filmed the incident called the police, but they didn't arrive soon enough to catch the attackers. here is a silver lining to this one though. Two women approached the scuffle, one toting a baseball bat, and managed to chase the attackers off. So far, nobody has been charged in this sneaker crime.
