Believe it or not, sneaker shops are actually being allowed to collaborate on Reebok models other than the Ventilator in 2015.
Highs and Lows of Australia proves that here with its take on the Reebok LX 8500. The sneaker doesn't appear to have a distinct theme attached, although the olive and red combination definitely feels reminiscent of the recent HAL x Asics Gel Lyte V "Medic" release.
This latest team up from HAL and Reebok will be at European sneaker shops soon – Solebox in Berlin will apparently have the sneaker for €110 EUR.
UPDATE: In the midst of a 10-Year Anniversary, Aussie boutique Highs and Lows pays homage to its GL 6000 collaboration with a LX 8500 update.
The runner’s red, black and grey palette is inspired by the original Mt. Lawley Highs and Lows store. Premium features include garment leather, oiled micro-perforated leather, tumbled leather, nubuck and 3M reflective accents.
Additionally, Highs and Lows and Reebok worked on a limited Anorak jacket, featuring a water-resistant poly/cotton body, water proof zippers, 3M details and co-branded patches.
The collection will be available in-store at Highs and Lows tomorrow. An online release at highsandlows.net is set for 11:59 p.m. tonight.
