Kobe Bryant's 2002-03 sneaker free agency spawned some of the best kicks we've ever seen hit NBA hardwood, perhaps none better than his Air Jordan Player Exclusives. Over the years, the Laker-themed Js have become increasingly harder to find, but occasionally the opportunity to own one of these rarities presents itself.

Listed on sneaker shop Index PDX is Bryant's "Away" Air Jordan 7 PE from 2002. The highly sought after sneaker is styled in black, with Laker-inspired purple and yellow accents throughout. Bryant's old #8 is also embroidered on the medial collar.

Now that finding a pair has been sorted, there's the issue of the pricing. To purchase the size 14, one would need to be prepared to fork over $25,000. The number may sound a little high, but considering the going rate of the most expensive Air Jordans on eBay, isn't exactly out of line. And we haven't even mentioned that this pair is dual-signed by Kobe himself.

So, is owning a piece of sneaker history worth that much money?
