With word of the Air Jordan 1 "Rare Air" set to release some time later this year, the original pair has surfaced on the Internet.

The pair was worn during Michael's rookie season which dates back to 1984-85. While it's unknown which exact game Michael wore them in, the sneaker was signed and gifted to one of Mike's friends with inscriptions on the left medial collar reading, "My Very Best - Michael Jordan." It continues on the right medial side of the shoe reading, "My very best - To brother - love always Michael Jordan #23."

Stay with us for a Jordan release date on the retro "Rare Air" Jordan 1 and enjoy these photos of an incredibly rare original pair in the meantime.
