Vans is adding Takashi Murakami to its long list of collaborators this summer with this new collection of footwear.
The group sticks to just the Vans Slip On in terms of silhouette selection, but that choice makes sense as the model gives more space than most for the kind of prints seen here. The imagery planted on the sneakers should be recognizable to anyone familiar with Murakami's catalog of anime-inspired, nuclear informed art.
The Vault by Vans x Takashi Murakami collection will release globally at Vans retailers on June 27.
