Saucony and Extra Butter are putting the sneaker collaboration process in the hands of the people via this new project.
The shoe to be created will be voted on by social media followers every step of the way. Extra Butter plans to post options for different elements of the sneaker's design and ask for votes to determine how to proceed. The shop doesn't say as much, but it's likely that the sneaker is far out in terms of a release date, as the shoe will take time to be produced once the design is settled on.
Extra Butter broke down the details on how the system would work with an Instagram post, seen below.
UPDATE 6/2: Extra Butter has chosen a silhouette for the project and has four colorway concepts, seen below, for readers to vote on. Voting on the next Extra Butter x Saucony sneaker begins tonight at 7 pm EST on Extra Butter's Instagram.
