Nike co-founder and chairman Phil Knight doesn't get out as much as a CEO Mark Parker, which means he doesn't have as many documented on-feet sneaker sightings in recent years.
So every time Knight does step out, it's worth checking for what sort of footwear he's got. This time around, for an appearance on Good Morning America on Thursday, Knight had on a pair of the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 31 from the reflective "Flash Pack," which is sort of a confusing choice given that the next Pegasus iteration is already out.
Knight has actually been stuck in these sneakers for a minute – photos of him hanging out in Cleveland for the 2015 NBA Finals also featured the same shoes.
Knight was previously prone to wearing Cole Haan shoes during more formal appearances like this, but has steered away from the brand since Nike sold it off in 2012.
