Vita Aleksandra Gotfrid, pictured above, was recently kicked out of a Nike store in Israel for breastfeeding her one-year-old daughter inside the shop.
After the incident, Gotfrid took to Facebook to vent her frustrations with a lengthy complaint.
“The shop’s workers think that breastfeeding in public places is illegal," she wrote. "We are living in the 21st Century."
1,458 Likes, 1,019 Comments, and 553 Shares shares later and Gotfrid got an official apology from the brand.
“We respect the right of every woman to breast feed their babies in any place,” a spokesman said. “We understand that the employee’s appeal to her made her feel uncomfortable and hurt her feelings and we are very sorry about that.”
