#SoleWatch: LeBron James Wore the 'Bred' Air Jordan 1 to Game 4

James shows up wearing the signature shoe of the NBA Finals Gold Standard

by Brandon Richard

Tonight, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are looking to take a 3-1 series lead in the NBA Finals.

Hoping to nudge closer to his goal of bringing an NBA championship to Cleveland, James showed up to The Q wearing the "Bred" Air Jordan 1 Retro. Comparisons between James and Michael Jordan have been a big part of the Finals discussion, and LeBron showing up to games in classic Air Jordans only fuels the debate. He also wore the Air Jordan 2 before a game agains the Chicago Bulls in the Eastern Conference Finals.

This isn't the first time we've seen something like this though — Kobe Bryant famously wore a Michael Jordan Bulls throwback jersey during the 2002 NBA Finals. And it just so happened to be Game 4. We all know LeBron is a student of the game, but is he THAT calculated?
