It's shaping up to be one of those "What If?" seasons for Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving. The series isn't over by any means, but Irving's knees are betraying him at the worst possible time, and the Cavs' chances to bring home the O'Brien take a massive hit without him.

Before exiting tonight's game with a knee injury, Irving gutted through his lingering tendonitis, giving the Cavs 23 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. However, after aggravating his left knee in overtime, he limped back to the locker room and didn't return. Cleveland fell to the Golden State Warriors 108-100 in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

Irving's injury was also disappointing because he may have laced up the best pair of kicks in the opener. He debuted a new Nike Kyrie 1 PE in wine, with gold accents and a translucent sole. Hopefully tomorrow's MRI results show no damage and this isn't the last we've seen of Kyrie in the Finals.
