At the mid-year point, Jordan Brand delivers what is sure to be one of the most stacked months of 2015.
One of June's highlights is the MTM Pack, a collaboration between Michael Jordan, Tinker Hatfield and Mark Parker that was gifted to President Obama when he visited Nike last month. The pack includes a performance woven Air Jordan 1 and all-leather Air Jordan XX9, paying homage to the first and most recent Air Jordan models. Packs will release in extremely limited quantities for $700 on June 26.
The "Shattered Backboard" Air Jordan 1 figures to be another instant sell-out, especially since the word is that there won't be many pairs. A glass-shattering dunk by Michael Jordan in a 1985 exhibition game inspired the new colorway, which will cap off the month.
For the first time, Air Jordans are part of Nike's N7 Collection, which supports initiatives to enable and inspire Native American and Aboriginal youth in North America. The Jordan lineup consists of the Air Jordan 7, Air Jordan 1 Low and Super.Fly 3.
Michael Jordan's championship celebrations are remembered with another "Celebration Collection," this time featuring the Air Jordan 7. Jordan's second championship shoe has been styled in cigar and champagne-flavored colorways, secured by championship ring lacelocks.
While rumored to be linked to Space Jam, the 90s-themed Air Jordan 5 colorway dropping early in the month flashes back to ProStars, an older animated series that starred Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky and Bo Jackson. The colorful palette is reminiscent of the series' vibrant frames.
The Air Jordan 13 Low is back for another round with two new styles. First, a "Bred/Playoff" colorway that fits right into the line's history. There's also a patterned make-up releasing as part of the Quai 54 celebration.
