With the season winding down, Toronto's DeMar DeRozan made a strong #SoleWatch statement in last night's game in Brooklyn.
Paying homage to his hero, the shooting guard played in one of Kobe Bryant's original Nike Zoom Kobe 1 Player Exclusives from 2006. This particular pair is blacked out with textured overlays and Kobe's number '24' embroidered on the heel in purple. DeRozan also wore an original Kobe 1 last November.
Proving himself worthy of wearing one of Kobe's personal pairs, DeRozan recorded 27 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists in the Raptors' 114-109 loss to the Nets.
