The Toms River Stride Rite location in New Jersey enjoyed 15 years without harassment from a man named Christopher Miller. The reason? Miller was busy serving a 15 year sentence following his 1999 robbery of that sneaker store. That all came to an end this week when Miller boarded a bus the day after his release, and took a 50-mile journey back to the site of his original crime to commit the same crime. Unfortunately for Miller, the exact same clerk he'd held up the first time was working, who was easily able to identify the suspect, and notified authorities. Miller has already pleaded guilty to this second crime, and is awaiting sentencing. Meanwhile, the Toms River Stride Rite is looking forward to 10 to 20 years free from Miller's antics.
