When images of the Jordan Eclipse first leaked, the sneaker was immediately compared to the Nike Roshe Run, Nike's juggernaut of a sportswear shoe.

The model certainly has some design overlap with that silhouette–the outsole shape, piping, lacing setup, and mesh upper all feel familiar in that regard. The Jordan Eclipse will be introduced at a price higher than the standard Roshe, this pair starts at $110, but people have had to get used to rising Roshe prices pretty much since the shoe's introduction, so maybe that won't hurt the Eclipse. Furthering comparisons is the fact that the Jordan Eclipse makes its debut in this straight white/black combo, much like the Roshe did in 2012.

The Jordan Eclipse in this black and white colorway is available now at Finishline.
