Derek Anderson may be a name that newer sneakerheads don't recognize, but he had very solid runs as an NBA pro and as a member of Team Jordan. He was an NCAA champion at Kentucky in 1996, a member of the 2006 NBA champion Miami Heat and had one of the most underrated lineups of Air Jordan Player Exclusives.
For example, two of his old Air Jordan 9 Lows just hit the auction block. The low-cut White/Black-True Red is a familiar look, but the mostly black style was truly exclusive to Anderson. And these were just two of no fewer than four styles worn by Anderson in 2002.
Adding these two pairs to your collection will run you about $3,750 via la-shoe-collector on eBay.
