A 30-year Nike veteran was called to the stand this week in the Aaron Hernandez murder trial.

Herbert Hedges, pictured above, helped identify the Air Jordan 11 Low sneakers that Hernandez is seen wearing in surveillance stills from the night of the crime. Prosecutors say that a footprint found at the scene of the crime matches that of the Air Jordan 11 Low.

Hernandez's defense pointed out that Nike has produced millions of shoes featuring that same Air Jordan 11 outsole. Hedges responded that far fewer were made in the specific size 13 that Hernandez wears, which has a different sole (presumably Hedges is referencing the size here).

Hernandez is accused of killing semiprofessional football player Odin Lloyd, in June of 2013.
