The 10 Worst Fake Sneakers on eBay Right Now

No getting fooled here.

1.

We all know fake sneakers are a major problem in the sneaker world, and it's gotten worse as of late with the knockoffs getting better and better. It's always been the safest move to buy from an authorized retailer, but with the rise of bots, that's become even harder, forcing us to eBay. You can't ever be too careful, but here's a look at some fake sneakers that wouldn't fool anyone.

Air Jordan 5 'Transparent'

2.

Price: $59 Buy It Now

According to the seller, this is actually an Air Jordan 8, not an Air Jordan 5. Also, they are "Very nice." If the clear parts and colorway weren't enough for you, the mis-labeling should raise an immediate red flag.

Jordan AJF 9 'White/Red'

4.

Price: $30 Buy It Now

Yes, the Air Jordan 9 and the Air Force 1 once had a baby. However, none of the released colorways of the AJF 9 feature the number '23' on the heels or elephant print on an oddly shaped toe.

Air Jordan 3 'Usher'

6.

Price: $305 Buy It Now

If you name isn't Usher, or you haven't scored at least 55 points more than once this season, your gold Air Jordan 3s are probably fake.

Nike Air Foamposite One 'Galaxy'

8.

Price: $350 Starting Bid

These 'Galaxy' Foams offer two clues as to their lack of authenticity: their shape, and the carbon fiber. Take your pick.

Air Jordan 6 'Drake'

10.

Price: $200 Starting Bid

An 'April Fools' prank turned reality. To date, an actual 'OVO' exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 6 Retro for Drake has never surfaced.

Nike Mag 'Black Gold'

12.

Price: $450 Buy It Now

Marty McFly only laced up one colorway of the Nike Mag, and it wasn't black and gold.

Air Jordan 6 '360'

14.

Price: $64 Buy It Now

The seller says, "such nice pair for Running." But last time we checked the Air Jordan 6 wasn't a running sneaker, nor did it ever have an Air Max bottom.

Air Jordan 6 'Pantone'

16.

 Price: $550 Starting Bid

The Pantone x Jordan Brand collection was made for display purposes only. While the Jordan 11 eventually found its way to retail in the 'Ultimate Gift of Flight' Pack, this Air Jordan 6 did not. The incorrect shape is a dead giveaway, as is the stitching.

 Air Jordan 7 'Clear'

18.

Price: $50 Buy It Now

In 2007, 'Clear' Air Jordan 7s were everywhere. This pair looks like they've been in constant rotation since then. Take note of the red back heel pull tab, which is odd to find on a white, green and yellow colorway.

Air Force 1 Low 'Playstation'

20.

Price: $49 Buy It Now

While Air Force 1s may not be as coveted as they were pre-2007, the 'Playstation' pairs are still fan-favorites. However, we do not ever recall a 'Gold' version, let alone a white-based pair. Playstation Zeros maybe?
