More rumors on the daily, a launch planned for New York Fashion week, and now an ominous countdown–Yeezy season is here.
The screenshot shown is from a newly registered website Yeezy.Supply that appears to be some sort of hub for the upcoming adidas x Kanye West collection. The site is pretty bare save for a countdown that will complete at 4 pm EST on Feb 12, the same day that Kanye is set to reveal his collection as part of New York Fashion Week.
The site doesn't bring much new info to the table, but if legit, it suggests that adidas will still use the Yeezy name (and not the Yeezi one that's been floating around online).
The "supply" aspect of the URL is somewhat confusing, as the adidas Confirmed app is currently being pushed as the platform for consumers to get their hands on the upcoming adidas Yeezy shoe.
UPDATE 2/11: In the latest Yeezy.Supply update, users are now given the opportunity to enter for tickets to view a stream of Kanye West's adidas Originals fashion show at a local theater.
The worldwide simulcast, featuring a performance by Vanessa Beecroft, will take place live in New York City tomorrow afternoon at 4:00 p.m. EST and streamed to 42 theaters around the globe. Fans may request tickets at theaters in three continents and 13 countries: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Russia, Spain, Sweden, UK, and the US). Some fans who arrive to theaters early enough will receive a special Yeezy windbreaker.
Ticket winners will be notified by tomorrow.
UPDATE 2/6: The Yeezy.Supply website has been updated again, this time with a cryptic video. There is still no explicit information regarding what purpose the site will serve.
UPDATE 2/5: A little after 8:00 p.m. EST tonight, Kanye tweeted a link to Yeezy.Supply's first update. The page now plays a strange, choppy video, which may be a factory production line with muffled conversation in the background. This following confirmation earlier today that Kanye x adidas will be launching soon. There's still plenty of information to sort out, but the moment everybody has been waiting for appears to be imminent.
