The Reebok Answer 3 Is Returning Soon

A fresh retro delivery from Allen Iverson's signature line.

by Brandon Richard

With all due respect to the Question, it’s time to give it a rest. Since Swizz Beatz joined Reebok as Classics Creative Director three years ago, Allen Iverson’s debut signature model has been on shelves non-stop, which is a little understandable considering its wide scale appeal. But if Jordan Brand can acknowledge that the Air Jordan 3 needs a break, Reebok can do the same with the Question. Perhaps this long-awaited retro is a step in the right direction.

Originally released in 1999, the Answer 3 was a much needed dose of simplicity in a tech-heavy era of sneakers. Full-grain leather, a traditional lacing setup and DMX Lite cushioning made for one of the best performers in the Iverson line. This year, the Answer 3 finally returns, starting with the original Black/Red and White/Red colorways.

While an official release date for the Answer 3 hasn’t been announced, the early word is that the model could be in stores as early as this summer.
