The Air Jordan XX9 is very much beholden to the elephant print of the Air Jordan 3, and all the retail releases to date have used that pattern to some extent.
Finally getting away from that look is this pair that's scheduled to release this Saturday. The sneaker lands somewhere in between the two classifications for this pair that have dropped to date–it's got the smaller Jumpman branding but it also lacks the lines that break up the more segmented pair. Instead, the shoe has some wavy lines on its flight woven upper that give it a sonic boom look. The sneaker is not totally without elephant print though, as the midsole still wears that classic Jordan Brand print. This Air Jordan XX9 will release this Saturday, Jan. 10.
