The Nike Air Flare isn't just another Andre Agassi shoe. It's a Grand Slam Andre Agassi shoe. The tennis icon wore the shoe during the 1994 US Open, when he bested Germany's Michael Stich in the final for the second Grand Slam title of his storied career.

Now, the oft-forgotten model is making its return to retail. The original colorway, Agassi's championship shoe, pairs black and white together on the upper, with purple accenting the tongue and outsole.

The Air Flare doesn't have the fanfare of the Tech Challenge series, but it's a great silhouette that Agassi collectors have been waiting on for years. Look for the retro to hit Nike Sportswear accounts in the coming months.
