Part of the Coaches vs. Cancer program, Suits and Sneakers Awareness Week calls for college basketball coaches to wear sneakers with their suits on game day to raise funds and awareness in the fight against cancer. Being the head coach of Michael Jordan’s alma mater, Roy Williams of the North Carolina Tar Heels received a little something special for the occasion.
In tonight’s game at Wake Forest, Williams and his entire staff were laced up in the remastered ‘Legend Blue’ Air Jordan 4 Retro. Wearing Jordans, Williams guided his team to an 87-71 victory over their old rivals from down the road. It must be the shoes.
