There aren't many New Balance sneakers in the sub-500 range that most sneakerheads could easily pick out of a lineup.
The New Balance 446 is one of those lesser known pairs at the moment, but there's a chance they could jump out of that category with the upcoming retro releases. Leading the charge is the above, a particularly patriotic looking version of the shoe that is indeed an original colorway (although the blues on the original 1980s pair appear a couple shades darker than what's seen here). Save any sort of collaboration on the horizon, the New Balance 446 will have to let the inline versions like these do the heavy lifting in terms of hype.
