There will be a huge influx of NYC-themed sneakers next year due to the 2015 All-Star game's Big Apple locale.
Getting ahead of that wave is this new set from adidas Basketball, which looks to the city's subways for inspiration. The adidas D Rose 5, adidas Crazy 8, and adidas Crazy 2 from the group each have similar metallic makeups made to look like the iron horses that run beneath the city. As mentioned, fans of these models don't have to wait till the 2015 All-Star weekend to get them–the group will launch on January 8th via adidas, and should be available at chain sneaker retailers as well.
