This new KD 7 is an NYC flavor, inspired by the lightning that strikes the Empire State Building an average of 25 times a year.
Kevin Durant's latest signature shoe has been heavy on the weather flavors - the first five that released during the summer were all related to that theme in some way, and now we're getting more with the likes of these last two "Lightning" editions. The purple hue here is pulled from the New York night sky when lightning ignites it, and the 534 is a reference to the Empire State Building's locale on 5th Ave and 34th St. Watch Durant talk about this new Nike KD 7 below and look for them to release on November 25th, 2014.
