From the mind of Nike Basketball designer Tony Hardman, the Zoom Run The One is an ideal sneaker for point guards, catering to the needs of players who rely on quick acceleration and rapid directional changes. The shoe’s name derives from the nickname of the position, which is also known as the ‘1.’
One of the NBA stars wearing the Run The One this season is James Harden, who enjoys the model's low-cut, Flywire lockdown and multidirectional outsole traction pattern. On opening night, he debuted this red and volt colorway, which will be releasing in limited quantities next week.
Harden’s PE features a red mesh and synthetic upper, with black filling in the Swoosh and a speckle print along the midsole. Volt adds pop to the eyelets and outsole. Personalized details include custom bearded insoles and Harden’s logo on the heel.
You can pick up a pair at nike.com on Saturday, November 15.
